My creative space...

busy busy this week doing not really a whole lot.

It's school holidays in our neck of the woods,

which means not a lot gets done besides being the queen of cleaning and food preparation!

being so so cold at night I have taken to perching in front of the heater

so took the time to restock a few hair accessory tins

with now over 70 done, I think It's time to get on to other awaiting orders.

off to the auctions again this week. again. yep. I know.
they actually know my by name now. thats ok.
at least this time, my bidding was not in vain!

I picked up these 4 beauties for a song!
I am so excited.
that red treasure I am keeping as my good case. It is perfect!
the medium browny will be a fabulous market case,
and the other 2, although look amazing, are a little worse for wear inside.
so will be great props etc.
one made from leather, the other actually a woven cane suitcase with leather trim.
so, let's pack up and hit the road jack!

My Creative Space...

well folks, school holidays this week!!

it sure has been chaotic!

I came up with the skirt above aswell as a few others for new ranges,

in amongst more than 6 ladies custom order skirts,

which, have created the mess that you see below.

AARRGGHHH

this mess WILL be cleaned up today!

with still more orders to be done, including 2 more of the skirt below, I simply have no room left to work, and have expanded to our dining table inside. much to the delight of all involved.

so this is my creative messy chaotic, however very productive space!!

flea market find....well not really...

hello my beautiful new lockers....

I was given this set of lockers by a friend.

I spotted them in their backyard a while back,

not being backwards in coming forwards, I mentioned just incase they ever felt the need to dispose of them, I knew of a grateful new home!!

and well, got the phone call last week.

come and get the lockers, they are all yours

well you can imaging my excitement, and my husbands lack of!!

as this friend is a plumber, all the handles on each locker are old tap handles.

too cool for words.

one day I may bring her back to all her former glory with a sandblast and splash of paint.

but for now, I love the rust.

they will be great for storing the kids bike helmets and other bits and pieces in!
